IPL skin rejuvenation

An effective solution for acne, oily skin, and age-related changes

What is IPL Skin Rejuvenation?

IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) is a modern skin rejuvenation technology that uses intense pulses of light. The procedure activates the skin cell regeneration process and stimulates collagen production, leading to improved skin structure and a more radiant appearance.

Expected Results:

  • Lightening and removal of pigmentation spots and freckles
  • Reduction of redness, acne, and visible capillaries
  • Improvement in skin elasticity and firmness
  • More even skin tone and texture
  • An overall effect of freshness and youthfulness

Indications for IPL Therapy

IPL treatment is recommended for the following skin conditions:

  • Acne that does not respond to medication
  • Oily skin
  • Age-related changes: wrinkles, loss of firmness
  • Dull, tired-looking skin
  • Dryness, flaking, and tightness
  • Pigmentation issues (freckles, melasma, dyschromia)
  • Couperose and visible blood vessels
  • Uneven skin texture

A consultation with a beautician is required before starting the treatment.

Contraindications

The treatment is not performed in the following cases:

  • Pregnancy and breastfeeding
  • Infectious diseases (including herpes)
  • Hormonal disorders
  • Increased sensitivity to light
  • Presence of tattoos or moles in the treatment area
  • Use of medications that increase photosensitivity
  • Active psoriasis or other inflammatory skin conditions

How Does IPL Technology Work?

The treatment uses light pulses with wavelengths between 500 and 1200 nm. These pulses penetrate the deeper layers of the skin and target:

  • Melanin – to lighten pigmentation spots
  • Oxyhemoglobin – to reduce redness and visible vessels
  • Dermal cells – to stimulate collagen and elastin production
  • Sebaceous glands – to regulate excessive oil production, especially in acne-prone skin

The treatment lasts 20–30 minutes, feels comfortable, and may involve a mild warming or tingling sensation. Recovery time is minimal.

Skin Improvements After the First Sessions

Vascular reduction: IPL light seals enlarged capillaries. Redness and couperose visibly decrease or disappear completely.

Pigmentation correction:

The light breaks down excess melanin in the upper skin layers, fading pigmentation spots and evening out the skin tone.

Improved firmness and texture:

Collagen production is stimulated, resulting in smoother, firmer skin with fewer visible wrinkles and irregularities.

Results and Duration of Effect

After a course of IPL skin rejuvenation, the skin feels smoother, fresher, and more radiant. The result can last up to 12 months, depending on individual skin condition and care.

To Prolong the Effect, It Is Important To:

  • Use sunscreen with SPF 30+
  • Avoid direct UV exposure
  • Repeat maintenance treatments (1–2 times a year)
